About Us
Born and raised in Vancouver, with degrees in Zoology and Architecture, Peter has been working as a full time artist since 1990. Intially showing in numerous galleries across Canada and the Untied Sates, he opened his own gallery on Granville Island in 2001.
The work is predominantly wood-based 2 1/2 and 3 dimensional sculpture which is finished with a variety of painting processes. The 2 1/2 dimensional work is wall-hung landscape and abstract imagery, painted on built up layers of wood. The 3D work is mostly figurative.
Tania Gleave
After she obtained a degree in Asian Studies & Japanese and later a diploma in Textile Art & Design, Tania spent years working and traveling in some very remote areas of the world including Coastal and Northern Canada, the interior or Antartica, Angola, Chile and more recently Asia. The time she spent overseas and the people she met through these experiences provide a limitless source of ideas and inspiration for her paintings, prints and jewellery.
Any combination of oil paint, hand etched and patinated metals, beeswax, stitching, stained silks and papers, graphite powder and spraypaint show up in her mixed media works. Recently she has returned to an early interest in jewellery design and she is now working on a series of textured mixed media monotype prints.
